Work injuries include an injury or disease arising out of your employment and may be a "specific injury" which occurs at one time, or a "cumulative injury" which normally occurs over a period of time. Employers normally send you to a doctor but you do have a choice of the type of doctor you would like to treat your work injury.

The new reform has added some restrictions but you do still have choices. The specialty you would like treating you is one.
