MEET THE DOCTOR

 Dr. Staci Talan came home to Fremont in 2003 and opened her practice after practicing for a few years in other successful practices around the Bay Area perfecting her skills.  Dr. Talan was born and raised in Fremont and knew when the time was right she would come back to her home town and play an active roll in the community. Dr. Talan attended Hacienda and Niles Elementary.  In 5th grade her parents  decided to transfer her and her brothers to the private school system. And so Dr. Talan completed her elementary and junior high years at Holy Spirit School. She attended Moreau High School and then proceeded on the Sacramento State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She continued on to graduate school at Life Chiropractic College - West in Hayward and earned a doctorate degree  in Chiropractic medicine.

She received her certificate as a natural childbirth instructor in 2005. She currently is not teaching classes but has many pregnant couples in her practice that she guides with her expertise in natural childbirth, nutrition and chiropractic  to help them in this wonderful time of their life to be able to make informed decisions. 

At this time she has 20 offices through out Northern California that she is called on by the state to evaluate, examine and give her medical expertise on difficult cases. In many cases she is required to rate the injured workers  impairments of disability in regard to the work injury.

Currently, Dr. Talan is studying to become a consultant  in women's health.   After completion of her certification she will be in a position to consult women on health issues through diagnsotic testing and better assist them in their overall health with supplementation, diet and lifestyle changes.

 Dr. Talan is currently is a  member of  local organizations such as the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, www.fremontbusiness.com and the  Irvington Business Association, www.irvingtonbusiness.com. She is also a member of the California Chiropractic Association  and a the American Chiropracitc Association.
